In practices with more than one physician on a team, a leader of other physician peers is named. Doctors leading other doctors often tell me it is challenging to lead peers who have the same letters after their names.

Our program for physicians leading other physicians addresses individualized topics of concern so our client can focus on what is most important.

  • Everything in the Leader of the Care Team package; coaching engagement is extended to 6-8 months.

  • Business consulting in addition to coaching, depending upon client’s individual experience and expertise.

  • Proactively manage client’s cognitive clarity by learning where to optimally spend limited pre-frontal cortex capacity.

  • Increase understanding of concepts related to change management, process improvement, data analysis and interpretation as well as taking action with incomplete information.

  • Deeper dive into the neuroscience of risk; address the specific areas holding client back by exploring new ways of moving forward through fear.

  • Communication styles and how to best leverage the client’s preferred methods, while increasing clarity of messaging for those whose style differs from client’s.

Outcomes from engagement include increased business acumen, leadership competence and confidence, increased agility and ability to take action amidst ambiguity and uncertainty prevalent in the business of improving health care.
